How many people know this song and is already second guessing an Indie-Folk singer and songwriter covering it? Well don’t be. Elisabeth Maurus who goes by her stage name, Lissie, is a gifted singer and songwriter, who gives you a riveting version if Kid Cudi’s song, “Pursuit of Happiness” I was very impressed with how she handles the rap part with aggression and swag, while her band adds some drama to it and making it as convincing as the original. After listening to both songs, can you say that I’m right about Lissie or am I right?
